Gorowsky Repeats as Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University's Ryner Gorowsky (Lino Lakes, Minn./Fairbanks) has repeated as the Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Gorowsky notched another three points in Bentley's 4-3 win over Robert Morris last Friday night at the JAR. He scored the first goal of the game, just 3:51 into the contest to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead. His 2nd point of the period came on an assist on defenseman Mike Berry's (Edmonton, Alberta/Sherwood Park) slap shot goal at 16:01 to make it 2-0 for the Falcons.

Gorowsky's 3rd point, and 2nd assist of the night, came on Max French's (West Kelowna, B.C./West Kelowna) power play goal at 1:45 of the 3rd period to give Bentley a 3-1 advantage.

That game extended his points streak to five consecutive games, tied with French for the longest such streak by a Bentley player so far this season. He had three goals and six assists during the streak, which began on Nov. 19 against Mercyhurst, his first game back after missing seven straight games.

Gorowsky ended the first half of the season 3rd on the team in points (10), behind French (18) and Kyle Schmidt (12).
