WALTHAM, Mass. – Former Bentley University forward Brett Hartung (Tallahassee, Fla.) has signed a pro contract with the Orlando Solar Bears of the East Coast Hockey League, the team announced Thursday.

Hartung signed just yesterday and was in the lineup as Orlando took on the Gwinnett Gladiators last night. The Solar Bears are affiliated with the Minnesota Wild in the NHL and the Houston Aeros in the AHL.

Hartung played in 33 games for the Falcons as a senior with six goals and 10 assists for 16 points. He finished his career with 136 games played, tallying 31 goals and 27 assists for 58 points.
