Before Bentley: 2008 graduate of John Marshall High School ... played junior hockey with the Vernon Vipers of the British Columbia Hockey League for three seasons (2008-11) ... helped the Vipers win the Fred Page Cup as BCHL champion three times (2009, 2010, 2011), the Doyle Cup (BCHL champion vs. AJHL champion) three times (2009, 2010, 2011) and the Royal Bank Cup as the Canadian Junior A champions twice (2009, 2010 and 2011 runner-up) ... had a 10-49-59 scoring line in 153 career regular season games for the Vipers ... went 5-19-24 during the 2010-11 season and 4-18-22 during 09-10 ... had just 12 penalty minutes in three seasons ... had five assists each in the 2010 and 2011 BCHL playoffs.
