Stewart Named Northeast-10 Golfer of the Week
WALTHAM, Mass. – Following an outstanding performance in the Penman Invitational at the Concord (N.H.) Country Club, Bentley University sophomore Zach Stewart (Pembroke/Duxbury HS) has been named the Golfer of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference.
Stewart tied for second in a field of 81 during the 54-hole tournament hosted by Southern New Hampshire University. He broke par in each of the first two rounds and finished with a one-over-par 69-68-74-211.
Stewart's efforts helped Bentley tie for sixth among 14 teams.
In his first seven rounds as a collegian, Stewart has a +1.6 average to par and a team-best 72.7 stroke average. Previously, he tied for ninth in the Hartford Hawks Invitational and tied for 22nd in the Granite State Opener.
Stewart is Bentley's first NE10 Golfer of the Week since Jared Walter in April 2022.
