LEBANON, Pa. – Bentley University golfers Jared Walter (South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor HS) and Nelson Eaton (Groton, Vt./St. Johnsbury Acad.) each improved on their day one performance as the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional continued on Friday at the Iron Valley Golf Club.

Eaton, a sophomore, posted a four-over 76, an improvement of eight strokes. He started out with two birdies and also birdied the par-five 527-yard 13^th.

Walter, a senior, improved by one stroke with a six-over-par 78. His round included birdies on the par-four 354-yard second hole and the par-five 467-yard 16^th.

In the standings, Walter climbed one spot into a tie for 60^th with a 79-78-157 and Eaton jumped 20 places into a tie for 80^th (84-76-160).

Donie Groppuso of St. Thomas Aquinas remained at the top of the leaderboard with his 68-69-138 good for a five stroke lead over Jordan Hyland (Davis & Elkins).

The third and final round will be Saturday with Eaton teeing off at 8:20 am and Walter at 8:40.
