WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley senior co-captain Tommy Ethier (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS), has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Golf Player of the Week following his outstanding performance in a pair of recent tournaments.

Ethier, the reigning NE10 Player of the Year, continued his strong start to the season, finishing atop the leaderboard for the second and third straight competitions. He shot a two-under 69 to earn medalist honors as Bentley defeated Assumption, 297-308, in a dual match Friday at the New England Country Club in Bellingham, Mass. with his round including five birdies.

On Tuesday, Ethier finished first in the 36-hole, eight-team Bentley Invitational by a single stroke with a 69-76-145.

During the three rounds, his stroke average was a sparkling 71.3. For the season, he has posted a 72.0 for five rounds.

Bentley's next action is the Saint Anselm Invitational in Somersworth, N.H., a 36-hole tournament on Friday.
