Trottie leads Falcon quartet with All-NE10 honors

WALTHAM, Mass. - Mia Trottie was named the Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, and four Falcons earned All-Conference honors, the conference announced Wednesday.

Trottie is the first Falcon to win the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year award since Alyssa Sliney in 2009.

The Cinnaminson, N.J. native was also named first team All-Conference. She finished the regular season leading Division II in save percentage (.833) and ranked second in goals against average (0.72). Trottie was named the NFHCA Division II National Defensive Player of the Week and the NE10 Goalie of the Week once each during the season.

Senior Emly Crowell was voted first team All-Conference. A defender, she started all 18 regular season games, helped the Falcons record nine shutouts and scored two goals. She was named the NE10 Defensive Player of the Week on October 23.

Midfielder Madison Halas and forward Lida Coco were selected second team All-Conference.

Halas tied for the team lead with four goals. She was third on the squad in assists with three and second in points with 11.

Coco also tied for the team in goals and was third on the team with nine points.
