Quilty & Tossona Named to Academic All-Northeast Field Hockey Team

WALTHAM, Mass. – Two members of the Bentley University field hockey team, junior Katie Quilty (Marston Mills/Barnstable HS) and sophomore Frankie Tossona (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn HS), were named to the Academic All-Northeast-10 Conference team.

Both student-athletes have distinguished themselves in the classroom as finance majors with Tossona owning a 3.87 grade point average and Quilty nearly identical (3.86). Both have made the President's List every semester they've been at Bentley.

Quilty appeared in 14 games, including three as a starter, this past fall. She scored three times with two of those coming Sept. 21 against Southern Connecticut State.

Tossona, a first-year starter who was recognized as the team's Most Improved Player, started all 14 games she played on defense and had one defensive save.
