Boston Globe West: Q&A with Bentley's Becca Moore

Marvin Pave of the Boston Globe West recently caught up with Bentley field hockey captain Becca Moore for this Q&A that appeared in the Sept. 6 edition of the paper and online at www.bostonglobe.com

A second-year captain for the Bentley University field hockey team, Becca Moore has played every game and attended every fall practice for the Falcons since her freshman season. Prior to Friday's season opener against Assumption, the Belmont High graduate had made 38 consecutive starts.

A year ago, the 5-foot-3 midfielder was second for Bentley (10-9 overall) in scoring, compiling a career-best five goals and six assists, raising her career totals to eight goals and 12 assists.

"Becca brings positive energy to the field and has the ability to make big offensive plays," said Bentley head coach Jessica Spencer.

Working on a double major in business management (human resources concentration) and liberal arts (ethics and social responsibility concentration), Moore carries a 3.45 grade point average.
