Four Different Players Score as Millersville Blanks Bentley, 4-0

INDIANA, Pa. -- Four different players put the ball in the cage as Millersville University rolled to a 4-0 win over Bentley University in non-conference women's field hockey Sunday afternoon at Indiana University.

The Marauders, in their 2010 opener, struck for three first half goals. Freshmen Tricia Jackson (Lancaster, Pa.) and Champayne Hess (Harrisburg, Pa.) netted the first two, and sophomore Ekom Enyong (York, Pa.) made it 3-0 35 about a half-minute before the halftime break.

Senior Emily Woodland (West Chester, Pa.) closed out the scoring with 7:17 left in the second half.

Combining for the shutout were junior Sara Dickinson (Millersville, Pa.) and sophomore Kelly Doehring (Gettysburg, Pa.), who relieved 10 minutes into the second half. They had just one combined save as the Marauders dominated play (17-1 in shots, 9-1 in corners).

Bentley, 0-2, doesn't play again until Sept. 14, a non-conference match-up at Stonehill.
