Bio

Brandon Taylor, a 2004 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, is serving as the running backs coach during his first season on the Bentley University staff. 

Taylor came to Bentley from the Arena Football League where he coached the defensive backs with the Cleveland Gladiators during the first ten games of the 2015 season and was the defensive coordinator of the Pittsburgh Power in 2014. That season, the Power set franchise records for wins (15) and consecutive wins (12) while ranking among the AFL leaders in most defensive categories.

Prior to moving to the AFL, Taylor spent time coaching at Kean University (2013, safeties coach), Robbinsville High School (2007-12, defensive backs and special teams).

A former team captain and 12th Man of the Year award recipient at New Hampshire, Taylor started 28 games for the Wildcats, accumulating 155 tackles and three interceptions from 2000-03. The Eatontown, N.J. native  played professionally with the Utah Blaze (AFL), the Mahoning Valley Thunder (AFL2) and the Albany Conquest (AFL2), and served as a team captain in all three stops.
