Bio

CJ Scarpa ’17 returned to Bentley as the Co-Offensive Coordinator, Wide Receivers Coach, and Recruiting Coordinator in July 2023.

In 2023, Scarpa helped lead the way for four Falcons to earn All-NE10 First Team: quarterback Mark Waid, running back Vinnie Holmes, wide receiver Abel Lopes Jr., offensive lineman Joe LoChiatto. Waid was twice named the NE10 Offensive Player of the Week, and he finished the season as the conference’s second-leading passer (160.6 yards per game). Holmes ended the season as the conference's second-leading rusher with an average of 94.0 yards per game.

During his senior year at Bentley, Scarpa led the Falcons in passing yards (901) and completion percentage (58.2-percent). He finished his Falcons playing career with 1,490 passing yards and 12 passing touchdowns.

After graduating from Bentley, Scarpa was a football operations intern for the New England Patriots. He since served as the assistant quarterbacks coach at Harvard, tight ends coach at Austin Peay State, special assistant to the coach at Arkansas State, and quarterbacks coach at Williams College.
