Mike Landers joined the Bentley coaching staff in July 2023 as the Special Teams Coach and Defensive Line Coach. Under Landers’ guidance in 2023, senior Tajon Vassar returned two kickoffs for a touchdown. Vassar earned an All-Super Region 1 honor for special teams in 2023, and he was named to the All-NE10 Second Team as a kick returner. By the end of Bentley’s 2023 season, Vassar led the nation in kickoff return average (33.5).

Bentley kicker Mason Campbell was named to the All-NE10 First Team in 2023. He broke his own school record for longest field goal by connecting from 49 yards (Sept. 9, 2023).

Landers was previously the head coach at Mount Ida College from 2008 to 2018. Since then, he was the defensive coordinator and special teams coach at Framingham State for a couple of seasons. He also served as the head coach at Dedham High School (MA), and defensive coordinator at Brockton High School (MA).

Landers lettered two times at Georgia Tech University.
