Logan Johnson, a 2011 graduate of Fitchburg State University, joined the Bentley coaching staff as defensive line coach earlier this year after spending a year at Coastal Carolina University.

At Coastal Carolina, Johnson served as special teams quality control coach and pro scout liaison. His duties included breaking down film and creating individual weekly scouting reports for each special teams unit, organizing NFL scouting visits throughout the 2013 season and organizing special teams unit substitutions during games.

Johnson spent the previous two years as an assistant football coach at Fitchburg State, working with the running backs, linebackers and special teams.

A Fitchburg native, Johnson received his Bachelor of Science in exercise and sports science and earned his MBA from Fitchburg State in 2013. As a student-athlete, he earned first-team All-New England Football Conference honors as a senior in 2010.
