Bio

Mike Garrity, a June 2015 graduate of the University of Oregon and a former linebacker for the Ducks, is in his first season as a member of the football staff at Bentley University. He'll serve as the Defensive Line Coach.

Garrity, a two-year letterwinner, was part of Oregon's 13-2 team last season which included a College Football Playoff semifinal victory over Florida State in the Rose Bowl. His first career pass break-up came in the Pac-12 Championship game victory over Arizona. 

Oregon experienced a great deal of success during Garrity's time with the Ducks with the list of accomplishments including two appearances in the national championship game (2011 BCS, 2014 CFP), three conference championships (2010 PAC 10, 2011 and 2014 PAC 12) and four Bowl victories (2012 and 2015 Rose Bowl, 2013 Alamo Bowl, 2013 Fiesta Bowl).

A native of San Carlos, Calif., Garrity attended prep school at the Cushing Academy in Ashburnham, Mass. He earned All-New England honors in 2009 and was named a Boston Globe Class A all-star.
