SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Mark Waid totaled five touchdowns and Mason Campbell tied a school record as the Bentley football team dominated at American International, 62-12, Saturday afternoon.
Waid threw three touchdown passes and ran for two more. Rashon Bradford, Pat Damon, and Jonathan Oriakhi each caught touchdown passes from Waid. Bradford caught two touchdowns in the game, the latter of which came from Brett Pullman in the third quarter.
Pullman also connected with Max Wolfgang for a 20-yard touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter.
Campbell made four field-goals in the win, tying several former Falcons for the most single-game makes in program history. Among the four makes was a 46-yard field goal late in the first quarter.
Defensively, Salvatore Lupoli Jr. came away with an interception. Christian Lanzalotto tallied 1.5 sacks, and AJ Norton-Jefferson notched a sack.
The Falcons next host Franklin Pierce Saturday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m.
