WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University junior kicker Grant Buchanan (Holliston/Holliston HS) was named the Special Teams Player of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference after his strong showing in the Falcons' season-opening contest against West Chester University.

Buchanan was successful on both his field goal attempts in Thursday night's game, including a career-long 46-yarder.

Now in his third season handling the placekicking duties for the Falcons, Buchanan has scored 114 points in 22 games. He had at least 50 points in each of his first two seasons and is 16 of 28 on field goals for his career.

Bentley will look to bounce back from an opening night loss this Thursday evening when the Falcons are at Southern Connecticut State.
