Hardy Named co-Defensive Player of the Week in the Northeast-10

WALTHAM, Mass. – After helping the Falcons to a 5-3 win at American International College, Bentley University senior linebacker Bryan Hardy (Barnstable/Barnstable HS) has been named the co-Defensive Player of the Week in the Northeast-10 Conference. It's the third time in his career that he's been recognized with the award.

Hardy, a two-time Academic All-NE-10 selection and a 2015 second-team All-Conference honoree, helped the Falcons to their fourth win of the season with 13 tackles, including two for losses. His efforts helped limit the Yellow Jackets to 277 total yards, including only 149 through three quarters.

Bentley's leading tackler for the third straight season, Hardy tops the NE-10 with 76 stops, including 39 solo and eight for losses. He's reached double digits in four of the last five games, is up to 12th nationally in Division II with a 10.9 average and has closed within 13 of 300 tackles for his career.

Bentley, 4-3 overall and 4-2 NE-10, will return home to host Stonehill College Saturday.
