MetroWest Daily News: "Guadagnoli reaping the rewards of stellar college career"

Danny Guadagnoli moved out of his Waltham apartment Wednesday, heading back to his parents' home in Framingham.

A sea change in the 23-year-old's life has begun.

He had been a record-smashing quarterback at Bentley University. The arc to get there, well, it's been a unique journey Guadagnoli has taken. It continues to mystify, and inspire him.

Record-setter? That never crossed his mind when he was redshirted his freshman year, "a learning lesson in humility," he says now, because he thought he was good enough to be starting.

"I had a lot of difficulty with not being on the field," he said. "I swallowed that pill."After all, following his terrific career at Framingham High and a year of prep, he was thinking Division I football. He was thinking Boston College.
