As a team, Bentley pushed its batting average to a conference-leading .304 mark.

Matt Tyman has allowed no more than one earned run in three of his last four starts. He has also won two of his last four outings.

Heber the hero

Pat Heber has thrown at least 7.0 innings in each of his last three starts. He has a 2.35 ERA during that stretch.

Scouting Assumption (9-10, 15-22 NE10)

They Greyhounds enter Friday's game with five wins in their last seven games. Cody Smith has a team-leading six homer runs, and Jack Barry's 29 RBI is the best total for Assumption. Owen Podolec has a team-high 12 steals, but he's been caught six times. Kyle Keating has made eight starts (nine appearances), and he holds a 2.85 ERA through 41.0 innings.
