Bentey's first game on campus is Wednesday against AIC

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley baseball team is scheduled for its first game on campus this season when the Falcons host American International Wednesday, March 27, for a non-conference game that starts at 3:30 p.m. Bentley resumes its Northeast-10 schedule at Franlin Pierce, March 29-30.

One and done

Bentley was slated for four Northeast-10 games this past weekend, but mother nature had different plans. The Falcons' doubleheader against St. Rose is postponed for a date TBD. Bentley's conference doubleheader against AIC was cut to one game, which the Falcons won, 9-7.

Bullish from the 'pen

Harper Flint holds a 4-0 record this season, with all five appearances (17.0 IP) coming out of the bullpen. He recently earned the victory at AIC after working 3.2 innings on the mound (March 24).

Sicker than your average

Bentley's .331 team batting average leads the NE10 by 27 points, and its on-base percentage leads the conference by eight points. Cory Bright (.443) and Tim Zupkus (.417) rank second and third, respectively, in the NE10 for hitting.

Rookie sensation

First-year Falcon Hunter Smith is one of only two NE10 players with multiple home runs (2) and double-digit steals (13) this season. He ranks third in the conference for steals.

Well-done ribeyes

Steve Rizzuto (23) and Brendan Sencaj (20) both rank top five in the conference for RBI. Rizzuto recently drove in three runs during Bentley's conference win at AIC (March 24).
