WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University graduate lefthander Jared Brooks (Hollis Center, Maine/ Cheverus HS) has been voted to the All-Northeast-10 Conference baseball third team, which was announced by the conference today.

Brooks led the Falcon pitching staff in numerous categories, including wins (7), innings (71.0), strikeouts (85), complete games (4) and games started (11) this season.

Brooks, whose seven wins in ten decisions was one shy of the school record and the most by a Falcon since 2013, ranks fourth in the NE10 in wins, strikeouts and complete games, and sixth in innings pitched. Owner of a 4.74 ERA, he averaged 10.77 strikeouts per nine innings.

Brooks worked at least six innings in each of his starts and won four of his last five, including a seven-inning four hitter earlier this month against Stonehill College. His strikeout high of ten was set March 17 against Post down in Florida.

Brooks' career, which began with two seasons at Stonehill, saw him post a 17-12 record, including 10-7 as a Falcon, and strike out 193 in 193.2 innings.

Bentley finished the 2022 season with a 17-25 record.
