WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University right fielder Tom Nagy (Fairfield, Conn./Ludlowe HS) was selected for honorable mention Division II All-East Region accolades by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).

Nagy, who was previously voted to the All-Northeast-10 Conference first team, became the first Falcon in seven years to lead the team in the three Triple Crown categories as the recent graduate hit .328 with nine home runs and 25 RBI.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder was second in the NE-10 in home runs and slugging (.626), and was also 12th in on base percentage (.417).

In three Bentley seasons, Nagy amassed 25 doubles, 11 triples and 21 home runs among his 133 hits. He improved on his batting average, slugging percentage and on base mark each season while leading the club in slugging, HR, RBI and total bases annually.

Against East Region teams, Nagy put together an impressive slash line of .358/.456/.717. He led the NE-10, as well as the East Region in home runs per game, averaging 0.27.
