Bio

Stephen MacDonald began as the Assistant Manager of Arena Operations for The Bentley Arena on January 18, 2023.

In his role, Stephen assists in overseeing Bentley’s multi-purpose arena, including day-to-day operations, with a focus on the audio-visual production for athletic and non-athletic events. The facility hosts Career Fairs, Speakers, Comedians, Student Events, Concerts and is home to the Division 1 Bentley Falcons hockey program.

MacDonald earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications Media with a concentration in Film/Video Production from Fitchburg State University in 2016.

Prior to Bentley, Stephen worked at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell for the arena’s venue management company, OVG360. He joined in 2018 as the Audio-Visual Manager before being promoted to Director of AV Production and Technology, where he was responsible for overseeing and providing all media services for the facility, video production, audio, graphic design, and technical services for both the venue’s clients and the UMass Lowell athletic department. This included facilitating broadcasts on NESN and the ESPN Family of Networks for the university’s Division 1 athletic programs.

Stephen currently resides in Pepperell with his wife, Courtney.
