Nuzback, Whitmore receive NE10 Sports Excellence Award

WALTHAM, Mass. – Maggie Whitmore of the Bentley women's basketball team, and Jordan Nuzback of Bentley women's swimming & Diving, both received the Northeast-10 Sports Excellence Award, the NE10 announced Thursday.

Bentley is the only NE10 member with multiple Sports Excellence Award recipients from the winter season. One student-athlete is selected per sport by the NE10.

Whitmore helped lead the Falcons to the NE10 Regular-Season Championship and NE10 Tournament title in 2023-24. The Falcons also earned the top seed in the NCAA East Regional. Whitmore was selected to the All-NE10 First Team, and she was tabbed an All-America Honorable Mention for the second consecutive year by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

Whitmore Led the nationally-ranked Falcons in scoring, free throw percentage, free throws made and free throws attempted, while ranking second in rebounds and third in assists during the 2023-24 season. She reached 1,000 career points this past season. Whitmore holds a 3.58 GPA while majoring in Management.

Nuzback won four silver medals during the 2024 NE10 Championships (200 IM, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay, 800 freestyle relay). She was also a two-time NE10 Swimmer of the Week over the course of the 2023-24 season. Nuzback is a two-time NE10 Academic All-Conference recipient, and she holds a 3.74 GPA while majoring in Corporate Finance and Accounting.
