Bentley Tops NE10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for 17th Straight Semester

For the 17th straight semester, Bentley University had the most selections for the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll with 376 Falcon student-athletes recognized for having a 3.0 or better during the spring 2017 semester.

Bentley University freshman Daniel Sausto (Slingerlands, N.Y./The Doane Stuart School) has been named the Men’s Swimming Rookie of the Year in the Northeast-10 Conference and his coach, Mary Kay Samko, was selected as the Men’s Swimming Coach of the Year in the conference.

Following a day in which they set three school records, the Bentley University men’s swimming and diving team sits atop the team standings at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship. Competing at Southern Connecticut State University’s Hutchinson Natatorium, Bentley finished Friday’s action with a total of 339 points, good for a 12-point lead over the host team. Le Moyne College is third with 254.

The Northeast-10 Conference Swimming and Diving Championships got underway Thursday night at Southern Connecticut State University’s Hutchinson Natatorium with the Bentley University Falcons earning gold in the women’s 4x800 free relay and setting a pair of school records.

The Falcons, competing for the first time in a month, improved to 7-0.
