Bentley Tops NE10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for 17th Straight Semester

WALTHAM, Mass. – For the 17th straight semester, Bentley University had the most selections for the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll with 376 Falcon student-athletes recognized for having a 3.0 or better during the spring 2017 semester.

In total, 75 percent of Bentley's student-athletes were included on the Commissioner's Honor Roll, a percentage that ranked second in the conference. It was the 16th straight semester that Bentley's percentage has been among the conference's top three.

Bentley's 376 total tied the NE10 record for most honorees, matching the Falcons' total from the fall 2015 semester.

The current method of honoring the NE10's best students has been in place since the spring 2009 semester with the Falcons heading the list each time.

Of Bentley's 376 honorees, 11 achieved perfect 4.0's during the semester and 178 posted a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.99.

Ten Falcon teams saw at least 80 percent of their student-athletes qualify for the Commissioner's Honor Roll with men's cross country topping the list at 96 percent (23 of 24). The others were men's track, women's lacrosse, women's swimming, women's soccer, softball, field hockey, women's tennis, men's lacrosse and volleyball.
