WALTHAM, Mass. – Seniors Audrey Christo (Belmont/Belmont HS), Jack Deehan (Westwood/Westwood HS) and Brice Tolan (Abington/Abington HS) will serve as captains of the 2022 Bentley University men's and women's cross country teams, head coach Kevin Curtin announced.

Tolan, also a team captain last fall, was one of top three on the men's team last fall. He placed 54^th in the Northeast-10 Championships and 71^st in the NCAA Division II East Regionals.

Deehan moved into the top five for the championship meets, finishing 96^th in the NE10's and 121^st in the regional.

Christo will be looking to return to form after missing last season with injuries and having her sophomore season cancelled by the pandemic. She last ran cross country in 2019 when she was 44^th in the conference championships and 133^rd in the regional meet.

Bentley will open the season Friday at Franklin Pierce in the Suffolk Short Course meet.
