WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley's Rachel Vitko was named the Northeast-10 Player of the Week on Monday for her performances in the volleyball team's sweep of the IVHOF East Region Clash over the weekend. Vitko was also named the tournament's MVP for her efforts.

In three matches she hit .384 and had 37 kills overall.

In wins over Saint Anselm and Molloy on Friday she was highly efficient. She had 14 kills and hit .423 in a 3-1 victory over the Hawks and had 15 kills and hit .444 in a sweep of Molloy.

She finished the weekend on Saturday with eight kills as Bentley swept Holy Family to go 3-0 in the tournament.

The Falcons are back at home for two matches this week. They host Franklin Pierce on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Southern New Hampshire on Saturday at 2 p.m.
