Eight Selected for Bentley Athletic Hall of Fame, Will be Inducted in October

Six All-Americas are among eight former Bentley University student-athletes who have been selected for the Bentley Athletic Hall of Fame, Director of Athletics Vaughn Williams announced. They will be inducted during an October 7 on-campus ceremony.

They are rising junior Caitlin Burmester (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Dublin HS), recent graduate Hannah Greene (Weston, Conn./Weston HS) and rising seniors Evan Bean (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa HS) and Cole Duval (Tolland/Mt. Everett HS).

Three members of the Bentley University men’s and women’s outdoor track and field teams have been earned USTFCCCA Division II All-East Region honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. They are senior Brice Tolan (Abington/Abington HS) in the 1500 meters, junior Cole Duval (Tolland/Mount Everett HS) in the 10,000 and junior Lucy Ambroult (Holbrook/Holbrook HS) in the long jump.

Ambroult & Burmester Post Top-Four Finishes at Northeast-10 Championships

During day two of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships at Southern New Hampshire University Saturday, Bentley University received top-four performances from junior Lucy Ambroult (Holbrook, Mass./Holbrook HS) and sophomore Caitlin Burmester (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Dublin HS). Ambroult, who was the runner-up in the long jump Friday, finished third in the 100 meters with a wind-aided time of 12.26 seconds. That bettered the school record of 12.40 she achieved in the prelims but will not count as a new mark due to the wind factor.

Bentley University Lucy Ambroult (Holbrook, Mass./Holbrook HS) broke her own school record in the 100 meters and placed third in the long jump Friday during day one of the Northeast-10 Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Southern New Hampshire University’s Mark A. Ouellette Stadium.
