WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley University men's and women's outdoor track and field teams will be at Stonehill College Friday and Saturday for the 2022 Northeast-10 Conference Championships. Friday's competitions at W.B. Mason Stadium will get underway with the heptathlon at 10:30 am and Saturday's action will begin with field events at 11 am and track events at 3:30 pm.

Bentley is expected to be led by senior Chase Davies (Marblehead/Marblehead HS), who'll look to defend her conference championship in the heptathlon. She also has the fourth best qualifying time in the 100-meter hurdles, an event she broke the school record in three times this spring. Last Saturday, she ran it in 14.64 seconds on the same Stonehill track. Indoors, she was second in the pentathlon and sixth in the 60 hurdles.

Sophomore Lucy Ambroult (Holbrook/Holbrook HS), who cleared a school record 19 feet in the long jump two weeks ago in the Southern New Hampshire Penmen Relays, is the top qualifier in that event and is tied for eighth in the 100 meters. She finished third in the long jump both at the 2022 indoor championships and last spring outdoors.

The top men's qualifier is freshman Alex Lawes (Brick, N.J./Brick Township HS), who is listed fourth in the 400 hurdles.

Also for the men, junior Jack Deehan (Westwood/Westwood HS) is fifth in the 800 and classmate Brice Tolan (Abington/Abington HS) is listed sixth in the 1500. Last year, Deehan placed seventh in the 800.

Also listed among the top eight qualifiers for the Bentley women are senior Samantha Bilodeau (New Ipswich, N.H./Mascenic Reg. HS), sixth in the 10,000, and freshman Caitlin Burmester (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Dublin HS), eighth in the 800. At the indoor championships, Burmester was fifth in the 800.
