Burmester, Greene Lead Bentley Women During Day 2 of NE10 Championships

BOSTON, Mass. – Freshman Caitlin Burmester (Willow Grove, Pa./Upper Dublin HS) and junior Hannah Greene (Weston, Conn./Weston HS) had the top finishes for the Bentley University women's indoor track team during the second and final day of the Northeast-10 Conference Championships Friday at the Reggie Lewis Center.

Each posted a fifth-place finish, Burmester in the 800 meters with a time of 2:23.17 and Greene in the high jump with a height of 5'0.25".

Also scoring for the Falcons were senior Chase Davies (Marblehead/Marblehead HS) and freshman Lauren Joseph (Coventry, R.I./Coventry HS). Davies was sixth in the 60 meter hurdles, reaching the line in 9.22 seconds, and Joseph was seventh in the mile with her time of 5:20.19 a new personal best by 5.29 seconds.

Senior Samantha Bilodeau (New Ipswich, N.H./Mascenic Reg. HS) was tenth in the 3,000 with her 10:56.25 improving on her collegiate best by more than ten seconds.

In the 4x800 relay, Bentley was ninth with the team of Joseph, Burmester, junior Annie DeForge (Hillsboro, Ore./Liberty HS) and sophomore Natalia Moulding (Wareham/ Wareham HS) finishing in 10:17.30.

Bentley totaled 27 points in the two-day meet, placing ninth among 11 teams.
