Women’s Tennis Falls to St. Mary’s (Texas)
SATELLITE BEACH, Fla. – St. Mary's (Texas) improved to 11-3 on the season with a 7-0 victory over Bentley on Wednesday as part of the team's spring break trip.
The Rattlers, who are the defending Lone Star Conference champions and were an NCAA Tournament team last season, have won three straight matches and five of six.
Bentley's lineup on the day saw Makena Romagnano (New Albany, Ohio/New Albany) and Remi LeSage (Sarasota, Fla./IMG) in No. 1 doubles, Zoe Chin (Lexington, Mass./Lexington) and Chloe Arsenault (Rye, N.H./Portsmouth) in No. 2 doubles and Miruna Constantin (Ploiesti, Romania) in No. 3 doubles.
The singles lineup had Romagnano, LeSage, Chin and Arsenault in 1-4 and Anna Higgins (Andover, Mass./Andover) and Rachel Holden (Pomfret, Conn./Woodstock) in No. 5 and 6.
Bentley will close out its spring break trip on Thursday when they visit Florida Southern at 3:00 PM.
