Bentley Defeats Crosstown Rival Brandeis 174-117

WALTHAM, Mass. – The women's swimming and diving team won its third straight meet and didn't have to travel far to do it, as they defeated Brandeis 174-117 on Friday night.

Freshman Bella Montanari won two races to help the winning effort. She was victorious in the 200 free (2:02.50) and 50 free races (25.43).

Senior Emma Hapkiewicz was a triple winner for the Falcons. She won the 1000 and 500 free swims to stay unbeaten in those races this season. She also swam the 200 backstroke for the first time this season and was victorious with a time of 2:13.98.

Freshman Skyla Lang also won three races. She first took the 100 breast stroke and followed that up with a win in the 200 breast stroke. She then finished her night by touching first in the 200 IM.

Junior Hilla Almog won both of the diving events with scores of 176.55 and 267.00

The Falcons will next be in action on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Keene State.
