Hapkiewicz & Kingsley Help Bentley Down Saint Rose, 125-81.

ALBANY, N.Y. – Junior Emma Hapkiewicz (South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor HS) and freshman Morgan Kingsley (Cazenovia, N.Y./Cazenovia HS) were among the top performers as the Bentley University swimming and diving team defeated The College of Saint Rose, 115-81, Sunday afternoon at Albany High School.

Hapkiewicz turned in the fastest 500 yard time in the Northeast-10 Conference this season, 5:20.63, and was also part of the Falcons' two winning relays, as were classmate Emily Blatt (Westford, Mass./Westford Academy) and senior Dariana Gonzales (Stamford, Conn./Westhill HS). In the 200 medley relay, they combined with senior Melissa Adamo (Hackettstown, N.J./Mount Olive HS) for a 1:55.05.

In the 400 free relay, Bentley posted the NE10's best time of the season, 3:47.16. Completing the quartet was sophomore Jordan Nuzback (Fairview, Pa./McDowell HS).

Kingsley was a double-winner, as was sophomore diver Hilla Almog (Wayland, Mass./Wayland HS). Kingsley took first in both the 200 individual medley (2:21.79) and the 100 breaststroke (1:11.67). Almog, in the two one-meter competitions, had scores of 232.20 and 175.75.

Bentley's other winners were Gonzales in the 100 freestyle (55.34), Nuzback in the 100 butterfly (1:01.06), senior Kate Galvin (Suffern, N.Y./Suffern HS) in the 50 free (25.69), freshman Taylor White (Warwick, Bermuda/Warwick Academy) in the 1000 free (11:12.05) and freshman Grace Motisi (Ellington, Conn./Ellington HS) in the 200 free (2:04.13).

Bentley, 2-1, will host Assumption University next Sunday at 1 pm.
