Six Falcons Represented on CSC Academic All-District Team

WALTHAM, Mass. – Six student-athletes represented the Bentley women's soccer team on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team.

Goalkeeper Claire Ewen, defenders Ryenne Feeney and Jillian Hendriksen, midfielder Gabby Vachon and forwards Bridget Gleason and Sydney O'Connor were selected for the efforts in the classroom and on the field this season.

Ewen, a double major in quantitative economics and liberal studies, was voted the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year and first team All-Conference.

Feeney is a corporate finance and accounting major. She started 12 matches and played all 90 minutes in eight matches, to go along with four points she notched as a defender.

Hendriksen, a center back majoring in management, was selected first team All-Conference. She played all 90 minutes in every match this season and helped Bentley post the third lowest goals against average in the NE10.

Vachon started all 16 matches and played every minute in all but one. She scored two goals and added one assist and is a computer information systems major.

Gleason was tabbed third team All-Conference after she led the squad with seven goals. She is majoring in finance.

O'Connor is a corporate finance and accounting major. She started all 16 matches during her junior season and registered two goals and three assists.

Ewen, Feeney, Hendriksen and O'Connor are all repeat selections to the Academic All-District team.

All six student-athletes now advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Honorees will be announced on December 19.
