Falcons Head to Pace on Wednesday Night for Key Road Game

WALTHAM, Mass. – Just four matches remain in the regular season and the Falcons visit Pace on Wednesday night for a 7:00 PM kickoff.

 

Playoff implications

Going into Wednesday's game Bentley is in fourth place in the NE10 standings with 11 points, one point ahead of Pace in fifth place. The top four teams will host a quarterfinal game in the NE10 Championship on November 5.

Saint Rose tops the standings with 19 points from seven games played. Adelphi is two points behind in second, followed by Saint Anselm in third with 13.

 

Last time out

Bentley played No. 17 ranked Adelphi to a 0-0 draw at home on Saturday. The Falcons had the edge in shots on goal 4-2. They also had the best scoring chance with a header from Jillian Hendriksen off a corner kick in the first half.

 

Where they rank

Goalkeeper Claire Ewen leads the NE10 with a .892 save percentage, which ranks 11th nationally in Division II. Her 0.67 goals against average is second in the NE10.

Junior forward Bridget Gleason is tied for third in the NE10 with six goals.
