WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley women's soccer team received a bronze Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award from the United Soccer Coaches for the 2022 season.

The award recognizes teams that "exhibit fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game."

The award, which is broken into platinum, gold, silver and bronze tiers, is based on the percentage of cards a team accumulates during the season (cards divided by games played).

Just 117 men's and women's college teams earned the award for the 2022. Bentley received a bronze award after they had just seven yellow cards in 18 games played.
