SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Scarlett D'Amico (Williamsville, N.Y./Williamsville East) scored a 44th minute goal and the Bentley defense stifled the Le Moyne attack in a 1-0 victory for the Falcons over Le Moyne on Saturday afternoon.
D'Amico, a freshman, scored her first NCAA goal at a great time to give the Falcons a crucial road win and three points in the NE10 standings.
The Falcons have now won three straight matches and improved their overall record to 6-5-3. In the NE10 their record is now 4-4-1 for 13 points.
Bentley's defense stifled Le Moyne's attack and limited them to just four shots total and one shot on goal.
Goalkeeper Claire Ewen (Arlington, Mass./Arlington) earned her 4th shutout of the season.
