Four Different Falcons Net Hat Tricks in 16-6 Win over Molloy

WALTHAM, Mass. – Four different players had a hat trick as #20 ranked Bentley ran past Molloy 16-6 on Wednesday afternoon.

The Falcons improved to 2-3 on the season.

The hat tricks were by Caroline Affolter, Maeve Johnson, Amanda Davis and Amber Kiricoples.

Goalie Ashlee Wargo posted a career-best 68.4 save percentage as she made 13 saves against 19 shots faced.

Bentley's lead was just 7-5 at halftime but they put the clamps down on Molloy in the second half. They allowed just one goal and outscored the Lions 9-1.

The Falcons had a 4-0 edge in the 3rd quarter with the goals coming from Affolter, Johnson and two from Kiricoples.

Bentley then scored four goals in the first three minutes of the 4th quarter. Kiricoples had the first goal, followed by Courtney Dermody, Davis and Johnson to make the score 15-5.

Joelle Solecki added a goal, with Davis on the assist, at the 9:18 mark to a 16-5 lead.

Bentley will now prep for its next game at home on Saturday against #3 Adelphi.
