WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University sophomore goalie Eliza Bresler (Newton, Mass./Newton North) has been tabbed for All-East Region second team honors by the IWLCA, it was announced Friday.

Bresler had a standout sophomore campaign for the Falcons in her first season as the starter. She helped lead the team to a 9-7 overall record, 8-5 in the Northeast-10 and a national ranking by the IWLCA almost the entire season.

Individually, Bresler was named second team All-Northeast 10 and was a finalist for the Goalie of the Year award. She led the conference in total saves (202) and was third in save percentage (.517). Twice named the NE10 Goalie of the Week, Bresler had seven games where she made at least 14 saves, with five of those games against ranked teams.

Bresler joined two other Bentley goalies throughout the program's history to earn All-Region honors; Lauren Ochs (2015, 2016) and Ally Dorman (2013).
