Hurdlers, Distance Runners Impress for Falcons on Final Day of NE10 Championships

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Bentley's hurdlers and distance runners impressed on day two of the Northeast 10 Outdoor Championships.

Evan Bean was 6th in the finals of the 400 hurdles with a time of 57.79. Sam Balsis was 8th in the finals of the 110 hurdles at 17.02.

Four Falcons finished in the top-18 of the 5000 meter, led by Sam Capobianco in 8th.

Capobianco, who took bronze in the 1500 on Friday, crossed the finish line in a PR of 15:23.63. Cole Duval was 12th (15:43.40), Max Lampe was 16th with a PR of 15:51.10 and Mason Behl was 18th with a PR of 16:03.31.

The 4x400 relay team of Bean, Matt Chicko, Finn Power and Hayden MacArthur ran a season best 3:29.94.

In the discus, Dillon Pan threw a PR of 34.14 meters.
