Three Falcons Earn USTFCCCA All-East Region Honors

WALTHAM, Mass. – Three members of the Bentley University men's and women's outdoor track and field teams have been earned USTFCCCA Division II All-East Region honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

They are senior Brice Tolan (Abington/Abington HS) in the 1500 meters, junior Cole Duval (Tolland/Mount Everett HS) in the 10,000 and junior Lucy Ambroult (Holbrook/Holbrook HS) in the long jump.

Tolan ran the 1500 in 3:56.99 during the Triton Invitational in San Diego, Calif. April 8, fourth best by an East Region runner this season. His season included an eighth-place finish in the 1500 at the Northeast-10 Championships.

Duval finished fourth in the East on the 10,000 list after placing sixth in 31:35.06 during the New England Championships earlier this month. That was 17 seconds faster than he ran the previous week in the conference championships when he finished fifth. He was also seventh in the 5,000 at the NE10s.

Ambroult ranked fourth in the East in the long jump after placing second in the Northeast-10 Championships with a distance of 18 feet, 9.75 inches. She just missed earning All-East honors in the 100 after ranking sixth. Ambroult did break the school record multiple times in the 100, lowering it to 12.45 during the NE10's.

Ambroult previously earned All-Region honors in the long jump, both indoors and out, in 2022.
