WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley men's tennis team closes out the regular season on Thursday with a home match against Queens (N.Y.) at 1:00 PM.

The Falcons defeated Franklin Pierce on the road on Tuesday 5-2 in their final NE10 match of the regular season. The NE10 Championship gets underway with the semifinals on May 2 and the finals are held one day later.

In Tuesday's win over the Ravens, Max Bonte, Gabe Horwitz and Christian Duffy each won in both singles and doubles.

Bonte and Duffy combined for a win in No. 1 doubles, and Horwitz and Nikolai Pran won in No. 2.

Bonte and Horwitz won the top two singles matches to put the Falcons in a strong position. Ansh Chadha, a three-time NE10 Rookie of the Week this season, won in No. 4 singles and Duffy took the No. 6 match.

Bonte closed the NE10 regular season leading Bentley in conference singles wins with five, all from the No. 1 spot. Horwitz was close behind him with four singles victories, all at No. 2.

Horwitz and Pran were the doubles pairing with the most NE10 wins with four.

Thursday's match between Bentley and Queens will be the first meeting between the two programs since March 5, 2022.
