Bonte leads Falcons to 5-2 win at Franklin Pierce

RINDGE, N.H. – The Bentley men's tennis team closed out its Northeast-10 season with a 5-2 triumph at Franklin Pierce Tuesday afternoon.

The Falcons won the doubles point with victories on the No. 1 and No. 2 courts. Max Bonte and Christian Duffy rolled to a 6-0 win on the No. 1 court, while Gabe Horwitz and Nikolai Pran won on the No. 2 doubles court, 6-2.

Bonte stayed dominant on the No. 1 singles court coming away with a two-set win (6-2, 6-4). On the No. 2 singles court, Horwitz edged out his Ravens counterpart in the first set, 7-5, and then won the second set, 6-3.

Ansh Chadha battled through three sets to win on the No. 4 singles court (6-3, 6-7, 7-6). Duffy also needed a hard-fought three sets to win on the No. 6 singles court (1-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-4)).

Bentley returns home for a non-conference match against Queens Thursday, April 25, at 1 p.m.
