WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University's Nikolai Pran (Oslo, Norway) was named to the Northeast-10 Men's Tennis All-Rookie team, it was announced on Wednesday.

Pran had a strong freshman season for the Falcons that included being named the NE10 Rookie of the Week on April 11.

He and Gabe Horwitz were Bentley's primary No. 2 doubles team during the NE10 season and they compiled a 3-2 record. Overall, Pran was 7-6 in doubles matches.

In singles, Pran posted wins against the likes of Stonehill, Franklin Pierce and Post in the regular season.

And although they did not count towards postseason awards, Pran won both of his matches in Bentley's NE10 first round playoff match against St. Michael's on Tuesday. He won in No. 4 singles and in No. 2 doubles with Horwitz.
