4 Falcons Selected for Academic All-Northeast-10 Men’s Swimming & Diving Team

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University placed four student-athletes, a conference-high total, on the 2022-23 Academic All-Northeast-10 Men's Swimming and Diving Team. A total of 11 earned the honor from the conference this year.

Bentley's honorees were grad student Jeremy Glick (South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor HS) and senior captains Ryan Looney (Wilton, Conn./Wilton HS), Michael Motisi (Ellington, Conn./Ellington HS) and Anthony Vizental (Concord, Calif./Clayton Valley HS). Glick, Looney and Vizental each received the honor for the second time.

Glick, who graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2022, was fourth off both diving boards at the Northeast-10 Conference with scores of 346.30 from the three-meter and 379.35 from the one-meter. Previously, he was third from both in 2019, fourth from both in 2020 and seventh from the one-meter in 2022. On Bentley's all-time lists, he is fourth in the one-meter for six dives and eighth for 11 dives. An accountancy major as an undergraduate who is now pursuing his Master's in the same field, Glick has achieved a 3.95 grade point average in grad school.

Looney, at the conference championships in February, helped Bentley capture the 200 free relay in a school record 1:22.97. In addition, he was the silver medalist in the 50 free, the 100 butterfly and three relays. The owner of nine career medals at the NE10's, including the 400 free relay in 2022, Looney ranks second in program history in the 50 fly, third in the 50 free and fourth in both the 100 free and 100 fly. The accountancy major has achieved a 3.53 grade point average.

At the Northeast-10 Championships, Motisi was the silver medalist in the 400 individual medley as well as sixth in the 1000 free and eighth in the 500 free. He was also part of two silver-medal winning relays, including the 200 medley which set a school record of 1:33.07. He also ranks second all-time in the 1000 free (9:22.22) and fourth all-time in the 400 individual medley. The nine-time NE10 medalist and finance major has a 3.62 grade point average.

Vizental , a finance major with a 3.50 GPA, amassed eight NE10 golds during his career, including the 100 butterfly and the 200 fly this year. He also collected four silvers at the championships in February, swam an NCAA "B" cut in the 200 fly, regained the school record in the 200 free and also broke the school records in the 200 fly, the 100 fly and the 200 medley relay. Vizental made 17 trips to the NE10 podium during his career.

All four were previously named to the CSC Academic All-District 1 team.

Bentley was undefeated in dual competition this past season (10-0) and finished second in the conference championships.
