Vizental, Glick & White Head List of Bentley Honorees

WALTHAM, Mass. – Senior Anthony Vizental (Concord, Calif./Clayton Valley HS), graduate student Jeremy Glick (South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor HS) and freshman Taylor White (Warwick, Bermuda/Warwick Academy) are among the members of the Bentley University swimming and diving teams who were recognized by the Northeast-10 Conference this week.

Vizental was tabbed as the Northeast-10 Men's Swimmer of the Week, Glick was the choice for NE10 Men's Diver of the Week, and White was named the Women's Rookie of the Week. Each was honored for the second time this season.

In addition, White and seniors Dariana Gonzales (Stamford, Conn./Westhill HS), Marissa Adamo (Hackettstown, N.J./Mount Olive HS) and Kate Galvin (Suffern, N.Y./Suffern HS) were named the Women's Relay Team of the Week. They achieved a winning time of 1:43.76 in the 200 free against St. Michael's.

In a pair of dual meets, Vizental was victorious in every event he was part of, six individual and two relay. Against St. Michael's, his times were 1:47.86 in the 200 freestyle, 2:15.86 in the 200 breaststroke and 2:02.41 in the 200 individual medley. In the Adelphi meet, he finished the 200 butterfly in 1:58.39, the 200 breast in 2:12.64 and the 400 IM in 4:21.33. In the relays, Vizental helped Bentley swim the 200 free against St. Michael's in 1:29.09 and the 200 medley against Adelphi in 1:36.62. His 400 IM performance was good for fourth best in the conference this season, and his 200 breast time was fifth best.

Glick swept the diving events in the two meets. Against St. Michael's, he posted scores of 284.39 from the one-meter board and 244.19 from the three-meter with both ranking third best in the conference this season. His scores against Adelphi were 259.94 one-meter and 226.87 three-meters.

White was unbeaten in five individual races. She was first to the wall in the 1000 yard freestyle (10:59.65), the 200 backstroke (2:12.11) and the 100 butterfly (1:02.02) against St. Michael's and took first in the 200 free (1:59.78) and the 400 individual medley (4:49.08) against Adelphi. In addition, she was part of Bentley's winning 200 free relay (1:43.76) against the Purple Knights and was part of a 200 medley relay team that was second (1:59.54) against Adelphi. During the week, she posted the conference's fourth best times of the season in the 1000 free and 400 IM, the fifth best in the 200 back and the eighth best in the 200 free.

Also recognized, with selection to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll, was sophomore Hilla Almog (Wayland/Wayland HS). She captured the one-meter diving against both St. Michael's (262.88) and Adelphi (266.63). In the three-meter, she was first against the Purple Knights (217.87) and second against Adelphi (222.82). Both scores against the Panthers were good for third on the NE10 performance list.
