Alviti Voted to CSC Division II Academic All-America At-Large Second Team

WALTHAM, Mass. – Nathan Alviti (New Fairfield, Conn./New Fairfield) of the Bentley University men's lacrosse team was named a Division II Academic All-America by the College Sports Communicators on Wednesday.

A sophomore midfielder, Alviti was voted to the second team in the men's at-large category. He was previously selected to the CSC Academic All-District men's at-large team.

Alviti becomes the second Academic All-America in the history of the Bentley men's lacrosse program. Scott Frerichs in 1997 was the first.

Alviti has garnered a litany of recognitions after a stellar 2023 season where he helped the Falcons earn a bid to the NCAA Tournament for the first time.

He was named an All-America honorable mention by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association and All-North Region honorable mention by the USILA.

USA Lacrosse Magazine voted him a third team All-America, and he was voted second team All-Northeast 10 and first team All-New England by the NEILA.

In 16 games this season, he scored 24 goals and added 15 assists. He was third on the team in each of goals, assists and points and tied for the team lead with five man-up goals.

He is majoring in finance and posted a 3.91 GPA this academic year.

It is the 92nd Academic All-America award all-time for Bentley University, a total that ranks in the top 15 in Division II all-time.
