Bartolomeo Named Second Team All-North Region; Jaber, Alviti and Parton Honorable Mentions

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University's Cam Bartolomeo (Meriden, Conn./Xavier) was named second team All-North Region as a faceoff specialist by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. Senior attacker Luke Jaber (Milton, Mass./BC High), sophomore midfielder Nathan Alviti (New Fairfield, Conn./New Fairfield) and sophomore long stick midfielder Alex Parton (Victor, N.Y./Victor) were all named as honorable mentions.

Bartolomeo was previously chosen as the NE10 Faceoff Specialist of the Year. The other honors he's received are first team All-Conference, first team All-New England and All-America honorable mention by USA Lacrosse Magazine.

He ranks 19th nationally in faceoff winning percentage (.582) and 22nd in ground balls per game (6.19).

Jaber led the squad in each of goals (36), assists (19) and points (55) for the second straight season. Jaber has also been voted second team All-Conference, first team All-New England and All-America honorable mention by USA Lacrosse Magazine.

Alviti racked up 24 goals and 15 assists for 39 points in 16 games. Those numbers put him third on the team in each category.

In addition to being cited as a third team All-America by USA Lacrosse Magazine, he's been second team All-Conference, first team All-New England and CSC Academic All-District.

Parton produced 42 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers. USA Lacrosse Magazine named him an All-America honorable mention and he's also been third team All-Conference and first team All-New England.

The quartet helped Bentley earn its first ever bid to the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship. They finished the season with a 10-6 record and also advanced to the NE10 finals.
